Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Supervisor - Registered Nurse to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. This vital role requires a professional with extensive clinical expertise, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. The Nursing Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and facilitate smooth operational workflows across various departments. Nursing Supervisor Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure by Florida State Board of Nursing 5 years clinical experience in acute care hospitals. Bachelor's Degree required, Master's in Nursing or other appropriate discipline preferred BLS required (AHA) ACLS required (AHA) Certification in specialty area preferred Demonstrates effectiveness in leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication skills High tolerance for stressful situations Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationship skills and strong people skills Basic computer skills required Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Role and Responsibilities The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating nursing care throughout the hospital for a defined shift. The Supervisor works in conjunction with the Department Directors and Chief Nurse Executive to ensure continuous delivery of quality patient care throughout the building. Has a thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, ACHA, AOA, and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
