Wellness Director

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Wellness Director to lead and coordinate comprehensive wellness programs within our senior living community. This energetic leader will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of health and wellness initiatives that enhance residents' quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing administration, assisted living, and healthcare management, with a passion for fostering a vibrant, supportive environment for residents. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee personalized care plans that promote residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being Manage day-to-day operations of wellness services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare guidelines Supervise nursing staff and care providers, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality resident care Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to review medical records, documentation, and assessments using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Monitor shift management schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts while maintaining optimal resident care standards Conduct regular reviews of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and care documentation to uphold accuracy and compliance Lead training sessions on HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and best practices in nursing administration Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes with demonstrated leadership in nurse management or nursing administration Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and care planning processes for elderly populations Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, documentation review procedures, and medical records management Experience supervising healthcare teams in settings such as home health or hospice care with a focus on acute care environments Excellent understanding of Medicare regulations and compliance standards related to senior care services Demonstrated ability to manage shifts effectively while ensuring quality resident care and staff supervision Leadership skills with supervising experience in nursing management roles; ability to motivate and guide teams toward excellence Join us as a Wellness Director to lead innovative health initiatives that enrich the lives of our residents! Pay:

$65,000.68 - $70,000.00 per year
