Job Description

Overview Orthopedic unit where everything - including the furnishings and equipment - is specifically geared to each patient's unique needs. The unit's Total Joint Practice Specialists provide a pre-operative Total Joint Education Program (both in-person and online). Our diverse patient population ranges from age 15 to 99+ and consists of:
  • Elective total joint patients
  • Orthopedic trauma patients
  • Elective spinal surgical patients

Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Responsibilities The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population. Qualifications 1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.2. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty ORBachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.3. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).5. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
PREFERRED
1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
