Full-Time•Days (No Weekends) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced RN Manager•Mother Baby to lead the daily operations of a Mother Baby unit within an acute care hospital setting. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing unit operations to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient departmental performance. The Manager will collaborate with leadership to support policy development, operational strategies, and staff leadership . The ideal candidate brings strong experience in postpartum and Mother/Baby nursing leadership , with the ability to guide an experienced and tenured clinical team. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Operational Leadership Oversee daily operations of the Mother Baby unit Ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures Staff Leadership & Development Supervise and support: Registered Nurses (RNs) Unit Secretaries Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development Promote staff engagement and retention Quality & Patient Care Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements Lead quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives Collaborate with leadership to enhance unit performance and patient outcomes Unit Overview 22-bed Mother Baby unit Average daily census: ~15 patients Approximately 29.5 FTEs Direct oversight of RNs, Unit Secretaries, and CNAs Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree (required) Master's Degree (preferred) Licensure & Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) Must hold a Georgia RN license or Compact/Multi-State RN license BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (required) Certifications accepted through: American Heart Association (AHA) American Red Cross Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required; must obtain within 60 months if not currently certified) Experience Minimum 3+ years of recent RN experience in Women's Services within an acute care setting (required) Minimum 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (required) Strong experience in: Mother/Baby care Postpartum nursing Women's Services leadership For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
