This vital leadership role involves overseeing patient care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The RN House Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for clinical issues during their shift, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes exceptional resident outcomes and staff development. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses with strong management skills to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant healthcare setting. Duties Provide immediate clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to care plans, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. Supervise daily operations of the nursing department, including patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication among physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize resident care plans. Monitor resident conditions through vital signs assessment, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations; respond promptly to urgent medical situations. Oversee compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records and documentation. Facilitate staff scheduling, supervision of nursing assistants, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and competent team. Lead incident investigations, infection control measures, and quality assurance initiatives aligned with NCQA standards. Assist with discharge planning, family communication, and coordination of ancillary services such as dialysis or specialized dementia care programs. Skills • Supervise daily nursing operations and staff activities. Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing teams. Manage staffing assignments and shift coverage. Ensure high-quality resident care and patient safety. Respond to emergencies and resolve clinical issues. Coordinate communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and documentation standards.
