Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced clinical leader to join our team as a Director of Wellness. This role is responsible for overseeing resident care services, leading clinical staff, and ensuring high-quality wellness support within an assisted living and/or memory care setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about resident-centered care, team leadership, and maintaining strong clinical standards and compliance practices. Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate resident wellness and clinical services Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and medication management Support residents' overall health, independence, dignity, and quality of life Ensure appropriate follow-up on clinical concerns, incidents, and changes in condition Team Leadership Hire, train, supervise, and support nursing and caregiving staff Promote teamwork, accountability, and positive staff engagement Assist with scheduling, coaching, and performance management Encourage continued staff education and professional development Compliance & Documentation Maintain compliance with state regulations and community policies Support survey readiness and participate in regulatory processes Monitor clinical documentation and medication administration practices Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, and outside providers as needed Collaboration & Communication Partner with leadership and department teams to support resident care needs Participate in care conferences and family meetings Serve as a resource and point of contact for residents and families Foster strong communication between clinical and non-clinical departments Qualifications Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current RN or LPN license in the applicable state CPR certification preferred Experience Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience preferred Previous experience in assisted living, senior living, memory care, or long-term care strongly preferred Experience supervising clinical staff and managing resident care services Skills & Competencies Knowledge of state healthcare regulations and clinical compliance standards Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care Benefits Competitive compensation Paid time off Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees Professional development and growth opportunities Supportive team environment Equal Opportunity Employer.
