This pivotal role combines clinical support, front desk management, and office administration to ensure seamless operations within a busy medical or dental practice. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient office workflows. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, oversee administrative functions, and support clinical staff with medical administrative support. Your expertise in medical office management, EMR/EHR systems, and healthcare regulations will drive the success of our practice. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Manage appointment scheduling using electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) systems with NextGen. Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing processes, including fiscal management and budgeting tasks Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards Support clinical staff with nursing duties such as vital signs, medication administration, and acute care procedures when necessary Oversee office operations including human resources functions like staff scheduling, training, and supervision of administrative personnel Coordinate with managed care providers and handle utilization management to optimize patient care delivery Ensure clinic compliance with healthcare management protocols and safety standards Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical or dental setting Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft Background in nursing or acute care with familiarity in medical terminology and medical records management Supervising experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical billing procedures, and fiscal management principles Experience with dental clinic operations or veterinary practice management is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care Join us to make a meaningful impact by supporting both our patients' health journeys and our practice's operational excellence!
