Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent patient care
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and physicians
  • Conducting daily rounds, assessing resident needs, and addressing concerns in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Coordinating and participating in quality improvement initiatives, addressing resident concerns, and promoting a culture of excellence
  • Maintaining accurate records, documenting resident care, and preparing reports as necessary
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as social services, dietary, and activities, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
  • Requirements
  • Current registration with the State of Illinois as a
  • Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as a unit manager or in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and industry standards
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
