Job Description
Civic Blueprint Consulting is conducting a search on behalf of a mission-driven healthcare organization serving underserved populations in the southwest suburbs that is seeking an experienced and collaborative healthcare leader to serve in a dual-role position combining clinical practice with operational leadership. This unique opportunity is ideal for a licensed Nurse Practitioner who enjoys both patient care and organizational leadership. The selected candidate will oversee day-to-day clinic operations, support staff performance and workflow management, and provide direct patient care within a community-focused healthcare setting. The organization is seeking a strong communicator and team-oriented leader who values professionalism, accountability, compassion, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Provide primary care services and patient evaluations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate patient care and referrals Support quality improvement and patient-centered care initiatives Operations & Leadership Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and workflow Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff Assist with scheduling, operational coordination, and staff development Improve systems, processes, and patient experience Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare standards Partner with executive leadership on operational initiatives and clinic growth Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of Illinois Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred Leadership or healthcare operations experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Experience working with underserved or community-based populations is a plus Ability to balance patient care responsibilities with operational oversight Compensation Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, with an anticipated salary range of up to $125,000 annually.
