The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of patient care, and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment. As a Caregiver Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and support caregivers in delivering personalized assistance that promotes independence and well-being. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of caregiving staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality care. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Monitor residents' health status through patient observation, vital signs measurement, and medication administration in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Provide training and ongoing support to caregivers on topics such as Alzheimer's care, dementia management, autism support, hospice care, and memory care techniques. Ensure compliance with safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, heavy lifting procedures, and proper use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, incident reports, and regulatory requirements while safeguarding residents' privacy rights. Oversee cleanliness and sanitation within the facility by supervising cleaning routines and ensuring adherence to health standards. Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional growth, teamwork, and open communication among staff members. Requirements Proven experience in group home settings or assisted living environments with a focus on senior or long-term care. Extensive knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, and care plan development. Strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, or other cognitive impairments. Certifications in first aid, CPR, HIPAA compliance, and nursing or home health care preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate caregiving staff effectively. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple residents' needs while maintaining detailed documentation. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility aids safely. Familiarity with home & community care practices as well as hospice support services is advantageous.
