Crawfordsville Full-time Day Shift Hours:
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Ready to take the next step into nursing leadership while maintaining a predictable schedule? Hickory Creek is seeking an experienced RN to serve as a Unit Manager , supporting clinical operations and leading a dedicated nursing team within our long-term care unit. This role is ideal for nurses with charge nurse or supervisory experience who are looking to transition into a structured leadership position focused on team development, clinical quality, and relationship-based resident care. The Unit Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for the nursing care of all residents on the assigned long-term care unit while providing daily leadership and guidance to licensed nurses and nursing personnel. This position oversees the delivery of care and manages the unit in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing standards, and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Skills Needed:
Supportive Presence:
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
Leadership:
Management experience or willingness and desire to learn proper approaches to managing staff. Passion for teaching, leading and mentoring staff.
Detail Oriented:
Ability to use clinical knowledge to exceed the needs of the residents, resident families and staff.
Collaboration:
Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
Requirements:
