Job Description

Summary Assumes responsibility for setting up training of new staff. Works directly with the PH Scheduling Manager to insure effective and efficient departmental operations. Audits and leads the team in the identification and resolution processes. Utilizes proactive problem-solving skills and resources to assure system improvements to eliminate Access Center errors. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and presents a positive, caring and professional image to patients, physicians, customers and coworkers. Serves as a professional role model for the department. Communicates effectively with multiple departments and positions. Requires 60% administrative duties and 40% calls and scheduling. Education Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED. Licensure/Certification Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry

Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse. To view addendums, go to the job description page on Parkview's intranet. Experience Prefer two years of clerical experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows. Requires a minimum of two years customer service. Other Qualifications Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to train others. Must demonstrate analytical skills necessary to research, evaluate, and identify problem areas. Must demonstrate organizational skills necessary to lead several complex issues concurrently. Knowledge of workflow and process improvement focused on referrals and patient navigation.
