WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Prepare, supervisor and control budget, monitor and analyze variances. Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements. Complete performance appraisal of staff members. Performs timely and effective service recovery to address patient/family complaints and grievances. Participates in people management activities for direct team members such as conducting performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews. Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel. Identifies oncoming shift's staffing needs and initiates action that assists in procuring adequate levels of staffing within their control. Remains current in and compliant with new developments and technology in areas of responsibility including documentation, medication administration, and monitoring systems. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing / Patient Care OR Required Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019 BSN required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO. 3 years Nursing Required 1 year Area of practice ore related specialty Preferred Basic Life Support Program (BLS)

• American Heart Association Registered Nurse (RN)
• State Licensing Board Unit Specific Certifications
• Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• American Heart Association Required if required by unit Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• American Heart Association Required if required by unit Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• The American Academy of Pediatrics Required if required by unit
