Job Description

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
Location:
Logansport, IN We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Logansport, IN. As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will oversee the preparation and delivery of meals in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations. Within established policies and procedures, you will ensure high-quality food service is provided at all times. This role also includes supervising dietary staff, monitoring department performance, and supporting the nutritional needs of our residents. Shift Available Full-Time Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations within the dietary department Manage dietary staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and make only authorized food substitutions Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes and special diet orders Review resident care plans as necessary to ensure dietary needs are met Provide nutrition counseling with assistance from a Registered Dietitian Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to support smooth facility operations Monitor department staff performance and conduct probationary and annual evaluations, including disciplinary actions when necessary Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required Previous long-term care experience preferred Prior management or supervisory experience preferred Must be 18 years of age or older Benefits We offer a comprehensive and affordable benefits package, including: Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage Dental and Vision Care Telemedicine Program Company-Paid Group Life Insurance Voluntary Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability 401(k) Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (vacation, personal, sick, and state sick leave) Education Assistance Program Up to $5,250 per year toward tuition reimbursement• Up to $2,625 per year toward repayment of a non-federal student loan• Benefits, bonuses, and compensation may vary based on employment status, location, and length of service. # INDCONFCDM
