Job Description
We rely on and trust our Regional Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for orienting, supervising, directing and developing all areas of facility clinical operations. Participates as a member of the Region Support team. Acts as a resource to provide clinical assistance, risk management, strategy and education to assigned facilities. Collaborates with Team Members in identification of clinical priorities in assigned area. Must be willing to travel to Centers located in Merrillville, Valparaiso, Portage, and Laporte. Oversees compliance with regulatory requirements and company, state and federal standards Monitors implementation of company initiatives Participates in Regional-QAPI Supervise, motivate, train and develop clinical leadership teams in assigned facilities. In conjunction with VP of Clinical Operations, mentors and evaluates performance of facility clinical systems and teams As a clinical expert, provides assistance and education in managing urgent high risk events and reversing regulatory issues Operates as a problem solver for the Region Conducts survey preparation, group clinical training or other clinical excellence duties as requested Assist in implementation and training of new clinical programs Supports development of Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) process Respond with urgency and communication when identified care issues are noted. Responsible for following appropriate escalation procedures when dealing with compliance, patient liability, adverse events and risk/regulatory issues. Assist with development/implementation of Ad Hoc QAPI tools as neededQualifications:
RN or completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a health care or related field Minimum of 3 years experience in long term care nursing management as Director of Nursing or consultant Multi-facility experience in long term care Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance in facilities, and telephone availability after-hours. #BYHCINDSimilar jobs in Mishawaka, IN
