We're a small but mighty physician owned surgical hospital where everyone knows your name, leadership is supportive and approachable, and laughter is part of our daily routine. Ascentist Hospital is a physician-owned, multi-specialty patient-focused surgical hospital with 4 operating rooms. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Surgical Nurse Manager to oversee the OR, Pre-Op/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) departments. Our clinical team is tight, our patients are grateful, and our leadership team doesn't hide in an office. We're in the hospital with you, cheering you on. In this role, you'll lead our exceptional surgical nursing team with energy, empathy, and excellence. You'll play a key role in managing daily operations in PAT, pre-op, OR, and recovery, and keeping our workflows smooth and our patients safe. Why Join Us?

Key Responsibilities :
Lead daily operations for the OR, Pre/Post, and PAT units with an emphasis on patient safety and efficiency Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation across surgical services Build strong working relationships with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical teams Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards Mentor and develop nursing staff through coaching, education, and performance management Ascentist welcomes team members who are striving to reach new heights in their personal and professional development. Leawood, KS Salary Range:
Negotiable - final compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience, education, certifications, and market alignment.
Benefits:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approx. 40hrs a week
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of OR experience and minimum of 2 years in leadership
