Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing to join our growing specialty home infusion team. This leadership role is responsible for supporting clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting exceptional patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with experience in infusion therapy, home health, specialty pharmacy, or acute care settings who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Position Summary The Nursing Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing serves as a key member of the clinical leadership team and works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations. This role provides leadership, mentorship, and support to clinical staff while ensuring the safe and effective delivery of infusion services in both home and ambulatory settings. Key Responsibilities Assist in the management and oversight of all nursing operations within the home infusion program Supervise, mentor, and support a team of infusion nurses and clinical staff Ensure compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and company standards Promote clinical excellence and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices Participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management Monitor quality assurance initiatives and support continuous process improvement efforts Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Support policy development, implementation, and regulatory readiness activities Assist with clinical audits, incident investigations, and corrective action plans Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for nursing staff Participate in on-call leadership responsibilities as needed Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred 5+ years of nursing experience Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred Home infusion, specialty infusion, home health, ambulatory infusion, or related clinical experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of infusion therapy practices and patient safety standards Experience with accreditation and regulatory requirements preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Preferred Experience Specialty pharmacy or home infusion operations Accreditation readiness and compliance programs Staff development and clinical education Quality improvement initiatives Multidisciplinary healthcare team collaboration Why Join Us?
