RN Manager/Clinical Manager FirstLight Home Care - 3.6 Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time $37 - $44 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications RN License Administrative experience Team development Case management Organizational skills Home health Home health agency experience Full Job Description Job Summary The RN Manager is responsible for overseeing client care and clinical services. This includes completing initial client evaluations, developing and updating Service Plans/Care Plans, and conducting supervisory visits in clients' homes. This role also provides clinical leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports operational decision-making, including staffing, budgeting, and team coordination. The RN Manager helps ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant home care services while also supporting agency growth by building strong client relationships and promoting services during intake and evaluations. Client Care Oversight Oversee client services to ensure needs are met safely and appropriately Conduct initial client evaluations and ongoing reassessments in the home Develop, implement, and revise Service Plans/Care Plans Ensure services align with physician orders when applicable Provide preventive, rehabilitative, and medical procedures when applicable Observe, document, and report changes in client condition (physical and emotional) Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate documentation of: Assessments Service Plans Supervisory visits Client and caregiver education Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards Participate in quality assurance and infection control activities and reviews Inform staff of client condition changes and updates to care plans Supervision & Staff Development Supervise, train, and support clinical and caregiving staff Conduct annual evaluations and competency assessments Coordinate staff meetings, in-services, and care conferences Provide coaching and leadership to improve performance and care quality Care Coordination & Communication Communicate with clients, families, and responsible parties regarding care needs and concerns Assist clients in learning self-care techniques Coordinate care planning and service delivery with the care team Agency Operations & Growth Support Participate in intake calls and home evaluations to convert prospective clients into active clients Clearly communicate agency services and value to families and referral sources Build trust and relationships to support client enrollment and satisfaction Identify opportunities to expand services based on client needs On-Call & Administrative Duties Participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned) Assist with additional duties as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing Current RN license in practicing state(s) Minimum 2 years of home care experience required At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and scheduling systems Strong leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Additional certifications as required by agency licensure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regular verbal communication required Frequent use of hands for documentation and equipment use Occasional standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs Work performed in office and client homes May be exposed to illness and bodily fluids Moderate noise environment
