Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for nursing operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance. Oversee, develop, review, and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards such as Medicare and HIPAA. Supervise nursing staff management and supervising experience to promote professional growth and maintain high-performance teams. Oversee documentation review, medical records management, and ensure compliance with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments and other regulatory documentation related to patient care. Maintain a thorough understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and care protocols specific to home, home health settings. Monitor shift management activities to ensure smooth operations while fostering a positive environment focused on patient safety and satisfaction. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes through effective care plans aligned with Medicare regulations. Uphold all privacy standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and documentation review processes. Experience 3 years experience as a Licensed Registered nurse with a 1 year minimum in Home Health Care. Demonstrated supervising experience managing multidisciplinary teams within healthcare settings such as home health or hospice care. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and documentation practices related to nursing care. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used for medical records management and documentation review. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff while managing shift operations efficiently. Experience in managing compliance with healthcare regulations including Medicare requirements and HIPAA standards.
