In this vital leadership role, you'll oversee patient care, guide nursing staff, and ensure our nation's heroes receive the highest quality of service. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse plus one of the following: Three years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR A bachelor's degree in nursing plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR A master's degree in nursing or public health plus two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR A doctorate in nursing or public health plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
In this role, you will: Plans and directs the care delivery of all residents on a unit. Makes rounds to assess residents, employees, and physical plant of assigned unit. Supervises, reviews, and evaluates the performance of subordinate staff in the delivery of resident care. Investigates, documents, and reports with suggested plan of action, complaints, and unusual occurrences to the Nursing Director.

Work Schedule:
Work hours are 8 or 12-hour shifts, which may include DAY OR NIGHT, or WEEKEND shifts.
Compensation:
This position has a base Salary Rate starting from $33.91/hr, depending on qualifications, and is eligible for premium pay of $4.00 per hour worked and a $2.00 per hour shift differential on nights/weekends/holidays.
