Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), is an 8-bed med/surg/tele, observation unit, which is in need of a 11pm-7am charge nurse. This is a very fast-paced floor and needs someone who is able to take care of their patients and maintain the flow of all patients on the floor. This individual needs to have good communication skills and be a great team player. Strong nursing skills, critical thinking, and ability to multitask are a must. The charge nurse makes the assignments for the nursing staff working that shift and communicates with bed placement for placing patients on the floor. Would you be interested in working 8-hour shifts, working 7 shifts on and being off 7 shifts? Would you be interested in working 56 hours but getting paid for 72 and still being considered full-time? CDU has 15 beds and is located on 3 North. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6, with a nursing assistant as support staff. If you feel you are up for a challenge, please apply.
