Position:

Nurse Manager Seeking Registered Nurse for leadership position for Ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Facility has 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Procedure Room. We perform ophthalmic procedures on Wednesdays and Thursdays, including Cataract, Glaucoma, and Oculoplastic. Responsibilities Supervising and directing nursing care in all clinical areas Coordinates and directs patient care and related activities according to accepted standards Staff scheduling to adequately meet patient responsibilities Orientation of new employees, and annual employee evaluations Organizing and monitoring Infection Control activities Assists in the implementation and maintenance of the QAPI program Participates in facility committees, meetings and activities Compliance with OSHA requirements Scheduling appropriate staff meetings and in-services

Qualifications:

Massachusetts RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certification Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in partnership with physicians and other clinicians Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement Excellent team building and people management skills Operating room experience preferred but not required
