Job Description

Position Summary:
RegalCare at Glen Ridge is seeking an experienced and motivated Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to join our nursing leadership team. The Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the assigned nursing unit, ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities on the assigned unit. Ensure that residents receive quality, person-centered care in accordance with policies and regulations. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching, education, and support. Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. Oversee documentation, medication administration, and compliance with infection control standards. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care as needed. Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff, residents, and families.
Qualifications:
Current RN or LPN license in the State of New Jersey (required). Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or unit management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and leadership skills. In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care. Compassionate, resident-focused, and team-oriented professional demeanor.
