Nurse (LPN or RN) Supervisor - 3:00pm-11:00pm Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center West Boylston, MA Job Details Full-time $35.50 - $47.21 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Full Job Description Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, part of Oriol Health Care, wants to help take your nursing career to new levels! We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate working Nurse (RN or LPN) Supervisor to deliver exceptional care, provide clinical and administrative leadership in the facility. This individual would be accountable and responsible for resident care within the facility and staffing coordination between all shifts.
Schedule :
40 hours, 2:45pm-11:15pm, Monday-Friday with weekend and holiday on call rotation.
Pay Rate:
LPN Supervisor:
$35.50 - 40.78/hr (with shift differential)
RN Supervisor:
$39.50 -47.21/hr (with shift differential) Sign-on/ Retention Bonus - up to $4,000
Skills :
Solid management and interpersonal abilities necessary to communicate with staff. Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet required deadlines. Ability to maintain assigned work hours. Has sufficient endurance to perform tasks over a long period of time. Ability to perform essential job functions. Must have the ability to perform essential functions without posing a "direct threat" to residents or other staff.
Essential Functions:
Coordinates and directs the implementation of resident care on all designated units within the facility. Works closely with Nurse Manager/Unit Manager to ensure adequate staffing and the effective delivery of clinical services. Assists the Director of Nursing in analyzing and evaluating Nursing Department needs and identifying resources to complete facility mission Facilitates maintenance of resident assessment and
MDS/OBRA
process within the facility. Assist the DON with Infection Control, Employee Health and Staff Development oversight. Participates/attends inter-disciplinary meeting with families. Participates as needed in updating care plans and resident assessments Monitors and evaluates nursing staff performance Participates in discipline and counseling of staff. Participates in the ongoing Quality Improvement efforts within the facility. May visit hospitals to pre-screen potential residents. Attend and participates on appropriate committees and conferences Ensures compliance with OSHA, DPH, and JCAHO guidelines. Collaborates with Staff Development Coordinator/Unit Managers in planning, teaching and evaluating Staff development programs. Protects the privacy and confidentiality of residents. May participate in the orientation of new staff as needed. Maintains positive working relationship between nursing staff and other departments Will participate in the on-call weekend and holiday rotation. Provides direct care as necessary.
