The Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) has a knowledgeable, multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovation and discovery to improve care and change lives. Our team cares for patients and their families throughout the continuum of care, with compassion and a collaborative approach that puts patients and families first. The Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVSICU) is an 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. Patients are admitted to the unit directly from the operating room, other units and departments, and from other hospitals. It is a very fast-paced unit driven through teamwork and collaboration within a highly competent multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to this specialized patient population. We pride ourselves on training the best of the best in a learning environment w our team can develop and grow. The manager oversees operations, budget and staffing, and is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating nursing care, ensuring assures adnce to Hospital policies and procedures while supporting the organization's mission and vision. This role is also accountable for maintaining high-quality patient care and driving continuous performance improvement through clinical leadership, staff development, education, and collaboration.

Requires five years of experience as registered nurse, including 3-5 years with leadership and/or management responsibilities. Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required.
Salary Range:
Minimum 56.34/hour - Maximum 87.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
