Position Title Allied Health & Nursing Program Manager FLSA Exempt FT/PT Full Time Hours Per Week 37.5 Work Schedule M-F 8:30-5 Grade 15 Compensation Range $68,067-93,932 Summary
  • Work closely with the Program Director and other Program Managers to support a range of programmatic and operational initiatives within the Allied Health and Nursing Workforce Team
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor grants, develop budgets, and serve as the college liaison with external agencies, organizations, and individuals to establish partnerships and generate new or sustained enrollments, FTE, and revenue.
  • Evaluate faculty through classroom and online class observation
  • Manage staff and student support operations to ensure high-quality learning experiences
  • Lead regulatory compliance and renewal processes for applicable programs
  • Conduct market research to inform new course offerings and program development
  • Collaborate with marketing and administrative teams to promote programs and streamline operations
  • Support course creation and instructional design within Canvas
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Allied Health and Nursing program coordination
  • Oversee instructor recruitment, hiring, onboarding, supervision, and evaluation—including licensed/certified health professionals and part-time course developers Essential Role Responsibilities
  • Develop courses and CEUs for professionals across diverse disciplines
  • Oversee and manage the Canvas Learning Management System, ensuring instructional quality and consistency across online course offerings
  • Act as the division's liaison with the academic college community in parallel career areas to foster cooperative efforts
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare employers in the county and region to support workforce development
  • Investigate new markets by analyzing trends and demographic data to inform program growth
  • Prepare internal and external reports, including statistical and compliance documentation for college, local, and state requirements
  • Collaborate with the Division Marketing Coordinator to prepare promotional materials and curate content
  • Monitor expenses and revenue, and forecast annual net for open enrollment and contract cost centers
  • Counsel prospective students on licensure, continuing education, and job requirements; resolve student issues
  • Provide in-service training for adjunct faculty to support instructional excellence
  • Oversee delegation of course maintenance processes, including instructor contracts, invoices, certificates, brochure production, and scheduling
  • Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Education Required Bachelor's degree Experience Required Bachelor's degree required plus three years of experience in healthcare or other targeted industries or in higher education or healthcare education.
Professional certifications in Allied Health a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare industry occupations required. Knowledge of local health care community and teaching/training experience preferred. Background in designing and implementing noncredit programs and courses. . Demonstrated project management skills, financial management ability, excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and personal computing skills required. Proficient with Microsoft Office products preferred. Experience in working with credentialing agencies and meeting licensing and certification requirements. Experience in developing and overseeing budgets and generating revenue. Supervisory skills and experience required. Experience with LMS, Canvas preferred.
