  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily nursing operations within the clinical unit to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting professional development and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and quality standards. Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations to optimize unit performance. Address patient and family concerns promptly and professionally to enhance patient satisfaction. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
  • Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master's degree in Nursing or related field is a plus. Proven clinical nursing experience with prior leadership or management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Work Experience Education & Experience - Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
If bachelor's degree is not in nursing, graduate degree must be in nursing. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or eligibility for licensure due to compact state agreements outlined through the Maryland Board of Nursing. Three (3) years of previous clinical experience required. Advanced certification (e.g., NE-BC, CEN, PCCN, etc.) required. Incumbents must obtain advanced certification within three (3) years of assuming the position. ACLS, BLS and/or other certifications to match patient populations served.
Benefits Benefits Pay Range:
$49.35 -$64.05
