Hours Guaranteed Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Charge Nurse in a Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation setting. The RN will provide leadership, coordinate patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality resident-centered care while supporting daily clinical operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee total nursing care for assigned residents/patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning Direct, guide, and support nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members Serve as a clinical resource and leader during assigned shifts Assist with patient and family education Monitor patient progress and ensure quality care standards are maintained Ensure compliance with facility policies, patient safety standards, and confidentiality requirements Support administrative and operational functions as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Active Maine RN License or Compact RN License Current BLS Certification Minimum 3 years of nursing experience Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills
Additional Information:
Holiday coverage may be required Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation experience preferred
