Nurse Manager - Flexible Schedule (Four 10hr days) The Oaks Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of healthcare services to our residents. The Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest level of clinical care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a passion for working with seniors in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead nursing and caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with state regulations and company policies Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Manage medication administration, documentation, and resident medical records Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare standards, licensing, and safety regulations Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations Participate in the development and monitoring of care plans and risk assessments Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide leadership during crisis situations Monitor infection control practices and ensure best practices are followed Participate in resident admissions and discharges, including initial and ongoing assessments Maintain effective communication with residents and families regarding care needs and updates Support a culture of respect, dignity, and resident-centered care
Qualifications:
Current and active RN license in the State of Michigan Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in senior care or assisted living Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of assisted living regulations and standards CPR/First Aid certification required Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?
