Shodair Children's Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Assistant Manager, Clinical Admissions to lead our admissions team and ensure every patient and family experiences a safe, supportive, and seamless transition into treatment. What You'll Do Lead Admissions Staff — Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for a dedicated clinical admissions team. Guide Patient Flow — Oversee referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered transitions. Ensure Clinical Excellence — Review documentation, assessments, and initial treatment plans for accuracy and compliance. Support High-Acuity Cases — Offer clinical guidance and escalation support for complex or urgent admissions. Drive Quality & Compliance — Participate in audits, monitor regulatory standards, and champion best practices. Collaborate Across Departments — Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and leadership to optimize throughput and enhance patient experience. Champion Patient-Centered Care — Support families, uphold patient rights, and promote culturally responsive care. This position starts at $42.26 per hour. Requirements What You Bring Current RN license (Montana or compact state) Bachelor's degree in Nursing Experience in admissions and at least 2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, or inpatient car e Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and support staff through challenging situations Familiarity with EHR systems and regulatory standards
