Job Description
What We Offer Relocation Assistance up to $7,500 Join a remarkable surgical services team at Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center , where innovation, precision, and teamwork define excellence. As the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for Perioperative Services, you'll provide both clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level—supporting your team through mentorship, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality surgical care. This state-of-the-art facility provides comprehensive coverage from routine procedures to complex surgeries. The ANM will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering collaboration among surgical teams, and supporting Novant Health's commitment to remarkable patient outcomes.
Preferred Skill Sets:
Background in perioperative services OR experience required Leadership experience highly preferred Familiarity with EMR systems (preferably Epic) Excellent communication and team-building abilities This is an exciting opportunity to lead within a great hospital, empowering a skilled surgical team and driving excellence in patient-centered care❗What We're Looking For Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
