The position plays a key role in support of departmental leadership regarding quality, efficiency, and cost containment. The RN Endoscopy Clinical Coordinator is responsible to provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures and professional standards of care/practice. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required•or higher. Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state. 10 years RN experience required. American Heart Association BLS Certification is required American Heart Association ACLS Certification required. Minimum of 3-5 years of Endoscopy experience is required. CGRN certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills& Abilities required (i.e. supervision, computers, etc.): Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the team and patients. Possess organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to utilize effective and confidential communication regarding patient, interdisciplinary, and staff relationships. Maintains stable performance levels under conditions of pressure and multiple demands. Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications
