RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead as our next Unit Manager at Lotus Village Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sparta, NC. As an RN Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and supervision for your assigned unit, supporting nursing staff while ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day clinical operations on your assigned unit Supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure high standards of care Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident conditions and staff performance Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely Address and resolve resident or family concerns with professionalism and care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and resident outcomes Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Participate in audits, surveys, and quality assurance initiatives Provide hands-on support during peak needs or emergencies Support the Director of Nursing with staffing, training, and performance evaluations

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (required) 2+ years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (preferred) Leadership or charge nurse experience highly preferred CPR certification (required) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities Knowledge of nursing regulations, infection control, and care standards in long-term care
