Emergency & Trauma RN Manager:

Within Emergency and Trauma Services, the Emergency & Trauma RN Manager advances a program recognized as a key regional referral center in southeastern North Carolina, strengthened by The Joint Commission accredited facility and trusted through high community reliance emergency department and inpatient services. The Emergency & Trauma RN Manager supports a strong focus on rural health access and underserved populations while coordinating across broad clinical services including medical/surgical, ED, OR, and women's services. This position offers an opportunity for leaders to drive high-impact operational and quality improvement work across the continuum.
The Emergency & Trauma RN Manager reports to the Director of Emergency and Trauma Services, collaborates with the Trauma Medical Director, and directly oversees a trauma registrar and PI/QI nurse while ensuring ACS standards and North Carolina Office of EMS requirements. The Emergency & Trauma RN Manager leads education, simulation, performance improvement, documentation integrity, and stakeholder communications, supported by friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, APPs, pharmacy, case management, social work, and rehab professionals. Qualifications include RN licensure in North Carolina, BSN required (MSN preferred), BLS and
ACLS, TNCC
