$72,800 - $95,680 per year We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee daily operations of an endoscopy unit within a growing healthcare organization. This role includes both leadership responsibilities and direct patient care.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily endoscopy unit operations, staffing, and scheduling Assist with endoscopy procedures and patient care as needed Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff Ensure compliance with infection control (SGNA, CDC) and safety standards Administer medications and monitor patient responses Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact State) Current BLS certification; ACLS required within 1 year Minimum 3 years of nursing experience Endoscopy experience required Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
