Description:
Full-time, 30-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, Clinic hours 8am-6pm No on-call, weekends, or holidays. Occasional outreach activities outside of normal work days. Benefited position after 60-day waiting period.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic Manager is responsible for: Overseeing the daily operations of the WIC, FRHS and HIV Counseling and Testing programs. Supervise Outreach Coordinator and outreach activities Fostering strong teamwork and supervision to the staff including the hiring, firing and training of staff. Developing and revising program policies and procedures to remain in compliance with state and federal program mandates. Organizing and managing quality assurance functions in close co-operation with the WCHR Director. Providing direct client care within the WIC, FRHS and HIV Counseling and Testing programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Recruit, hire and coordinate the training of new staff members Identify staff training needs and provide training opportunities to meet staff training needs Manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed Perform annual employee reviews and provide constructive feedback on their performance to help them meet professional goals Provide direct client care with an established work schedule for the WIC, FRHS, Immunization and HIV Counseling and Testing programs. Serve as the liaison between nursing/support staff and the medical providers and agency leadership. Develop and revise policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations Maintain compliance with policies and procedures Coordinate the writing and timely submission of program grants and required reports Assist with the development of program budgets Maintain operations within the program's respective budgets Assist with establishment of clinical quality benchmarks and quality improvement efforts. Analyze clinical data to make improvements in clinical care Facilitate communication, coordination, and collaboration among staff, providers, and community organizations. Attend all program meetings required by state or federal funders. Ensures WCHR Health Clinic Licensure, Delegated dispensing permit and CLIA licenses are kept up to date.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
RN licensure, active.
EXPERIENCE
1 or more years of nursing experience required. 1 or more years of supervisory/managerial experience, preferred. Case management and health education skills. Diverse clinical experience. Knowledge of agency mission and individual program objectives. Knowledge and experience of electronic health records.
