In this role, you will serve as a trusted clinical expert and educator, helping our teams deliver exceptional care while ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
You will:
Lead and support ICD-10 diagnosis coding accuracy across Vetter communities Serve as the clinical subject matter expert for our electronic health record (EHR) systems Audit clinical documentation, coding workflows, and system utilization to ensure compliance and quality Provide targeted education and coaching to improve documentation practices Partner with operations, financial services, and billing teams to resolve coding-related concerns Guide teams through system updates, regulatory changes, and evolving documentation standards Drive process improvement initiatives that increase consistency, efficiency, and accountability Build strong relationships across departments to support collaboration and success We are looking for a leader who reflects our values in both skill and heart.
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Strong knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis coding Experience working with electronic health records and clinical documentation workflows Ability to translate clinical needs into system solutions and process improvements Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Willingness to travel to support our communities as needed
