Registered Nurse Supervisor

The Registered Nurse Supervisor has strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, good follow through skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required. The Registered Nurse Supervisor works as a team player with Nursing Staff to provide excellent clinical care and the Registered Nurse Supervisor must demonstrate a willingness to assist others.

• RN Nursing Supervisor Responsibilities
• The RN Supervisor is accountable for the administrative, clinical, and professional development of facility personnel for the designated shift.
• The RN Supervisor coordinates, directs, and oversees all aspects of the delivery of nursing care.
• The RN Supervisor demonstrates competence in leadership and relevant clinical experience.
• The RN Supervisor collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals; complies with orders in a timely manner.
• The RN Supervisor conducts unit rounds, ensuring that clinical practices are delivered within the facility's established standards of care.
• The RN Supervisor maintains standards of care in accordance with regulatory agencies.
• RN Supervisor Qualifications
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• RN must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The RN Supervisor must have the ability to work as part of a team, while managing multiple tasks in a safe and effective manner.
• The RN Supervisor must be courteous and professional with an exceptional "bedside manner" have a high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations
• The RN Supervisor must have the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and clientele through sound business decisions, diplomacy and discretion.
