Nurse Supervisor Evening

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Nurse Supervisor for evening shifts to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. This vital role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing staff during evening hours, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to care protocols Provide direct patient care assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medication administration, utilizing comprehensive medical terminology and physiology knowledge Oversee patient assessments related to long-term care settings, as well as rehab including dementia Ensure accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as PCC maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Facilitate communication between interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to uphold infection control standards and NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) standards Support staff development through supervising nurse management activities and providing mentorship in areas. Requirements Valid LPN or RN license with current state licensure required Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting with strong team management skills Extensive clinical background in acute care environments. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems like PCC is essential Demonstrated ability to handle complex patient assessments involving anatomy knowledge and physiology principles Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications like ACLS or PALS are advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to triage effectively and provide health coaching when necessary Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as pcc Join us as a Nurse Supervisor Evening to lead compassionate nursing teams dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
