Hospice Clinical Director (RN) Albuquerque, New Mexico Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM $7,500 Sign-On Bonus Territory Albuquerque, New Mexico A growing hospice organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to join its team as a Clinical Director overseeing hospice operations in the Albuquerque market. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospice or home health nurse leader looking to advance their career within a mission-driven organization focused on compassionate end-of-life care. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with hospice or home health management experience, excellent emotional intelligence, and a passion for mentoring teams while delivering exceptional patient and family care. Position Overview The Clinical Director will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the hospice program and lead an interdisciplinary team of nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, and clinical staff. This role partners closely with executive leadership, physicians, and community liaisons to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence. This individual will play a critical role in fostering a collaborative team culture while supporting census growth, clinical quality initiatives, and exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all clinical hospice services in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards Lead and support an interdisciplinary team of hospice clinicians and care providers Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and hospice regulations Participate in orientation, onboarding, and ongoing clinical staff education programs Evaluate staff performance and provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to review patient care plans and coordinate care delivery Support quality assurance, performance improvement, and patient satisfaction initiatives Collaborate closely with operational leadership, physicians, and business development teams Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate patient-centered care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required At least 1 year of direct patient care experience in hospice, home health, or oncology required Prior supervisory or leadership experience in hospice or home health strongly preferred Strong knowledge of terminal care, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family support Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills EMR and computer proficiency required Current CPR certification if required by state regulations Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Base salary ranging from $105,000 - $110,000 annually $7,500 Sign-On Bonus Quarterly bonus opportunity up to 10% of base salary 55% tied to quality objectives 45% tied to colleague/team objectives Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Tuition reimbursement and certification assistance Cell phone, mileage, and gym membership reimbursement Wellness and employee discount programs Structured onboarding and leadership support Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate nurse leader seeking to make a meaningful impact while leading a dedicated hospice team in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
