Know Your Team:
Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community. Responsibilities The Charge RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge. Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions. Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Associate?s Degree or Diploma of Nursing One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience. CPR BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing. Certification in clinical specialty National Certification in specialty care
