Summary:
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, partners with the RN Manager and Assistant RN Manager as part of the leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift oversight. Coordinates patient flow ensures high-quality and safe patient care, and fosters exceptional patient experiences while guiding and supporting unit staff within designated service areas. Responsibilities:
Provides dynamic clinical and operational shift leadership, overseeing care processes including patient flow, quality outcomes, patient safety, and delivery of exceptional patient experiences within the designated service area. Ensures the delivery of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care, fostering a high-performing environment that supports both patients and care teams.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (minimum Associate Degree in Nursing required; programs under conditional status may be considered with approval)
Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico or compact state required
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience required
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS
