Job Description

A health services network in Albany, New York is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in the Capital Region as a House Supervisor. In this role, the House Supervisor (RN) will be responsible for overseeing the safety and care of residents and staff at the facility. This role offers an ongoing temporary assignment with flexible shift coverage as needed. 
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safety of all residents, staff, and the facility during assigned shifts Supervising the care provided to all residents and staff on duty Managing specific units and administering medications and treatments Assuring proper functioning of the facility during duty and responding to incidents Managing staffing and ensuring environmental/infection control standards Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of Nursing experience Bachelor's Degree in Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certification Proven skills in Crisis Management Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of Nursing experience Advanced Degree in Nursing and/or Healthcare Management Additional certifications in Nursing Management Experience in a Long-term Care or care for Neurologically-impaired patients Previous experience in a Supervisory role
