Work primarily M-F day shift with responsibility for operations 24/7 of the unit. On call schedule 1/5 weekends, some holidays 1/5 to assist supervisor with staffing issues
Job Objective:
Provides administrative oversight and assists with day-to-day operation of avenue Provides direction of services, staffing, training, budgeting and equipment for avenue Responsible for assuring quality and fulfillment of all regulatory and compliance requirements Oversee the nursing care for our post-hospital, rehabilitation unit
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees the plan of care for all residents within the designated program Ensures that service line standards of care, policies, procedures and protocols are current Reviews potential and current residents for service line appropriateness Develops and implements a quality improvement plan incorporating quality care indicators and measurable outcomes Reviews appropriateness of associate applicants for program placement Responsible for bench marking to enhance program Assesses customer satisfaction and develops a follow up plan when appropriate Participates in the budgeting process and financial performance of program
Requirements:
Valid NYS license as a Registered Nurse Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred 3 yrs experience in Long Term Care, previous medical/surgical experience for post acute service line Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process. Excellent organizational skills Progressive leadership roles in nursing
Position Salary Range:
$95,000-110,000/year
