The Nurse Manager Labor Delivery will report to a Director of Maternal-Child Health with strong executive sponsorship and collaborates closely with OB/GYNs, certified nurse-midwives, anesthesiology, neonatology, lactation consultants, case management, social work, and perinatal educators; scope for the Nurse Manager Labor Delivery includes staffing and scheduling, budgeting, accreditation readiness, quality metrics (e.g., OB hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders, sepsis bundles), patient experience initiatives, policy development, staff coaching and evaluations, recruitment and retention, and fostering shared governance, all while leading a friendly team of nurses and a diverse, interprofessional workforce that values respect, cultural humility, and teamwork.
