$53.00•$59.28 per hour equivalent Based on experience and qualifications Full-time benefits package available Location 196 North St, Geneva, NY Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor to provide operational and clinical leadership across an acute care environment during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. The Clinical Leader will collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care, staffing effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This role serves as a critical resource for nursing personnel by providing mentorship, clinical expertise, staffing coordination, patient care oversight, and leadership support throughout the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Operations Coordinate clinical activities across multiple acute care departments during off-shift hours. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff caring for patients across all age groups. Respond to clinical emergencies and administrative situations utilizing sound clinical judgment. Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing practices throughout assigned shifts. Monitor patient acuity levels and adjust staffing assignments accordingly. Support compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and nursing practice guidelines. Staff Development & Mentorship Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to enhance professional growth and clinical competency. Facilitate competency assessments and educational development initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice and leadership excellence. Quality & Patient Outcomes Evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing care delivery. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing leadership committees. Address patient, family, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Promote patient safety, satisfaction, and positive clinical outcomes. Collaboration & Communication Act as a liaison between nursing leadership and off-shift clinical teams. Maintain effective communication among physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare stakeholders. Collaborate with Nurse Managers and leadership teams to optimize patient care delivery. Support organizational goals through interdisciplinary teamwork and problem-solving. Required QualificationsEducation Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. Licensure Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License . Experience Minimum 3 years of Acute Care Registered Nurse experience . Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience (Emergency Department experience preferred). Minimum 1 year of Charge Nurse, Clinical Leadership, or Nursing Leadership experience . Proven ability to prioritize multiple clinical events and manage complex patient care situations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
