Compensation Range:
$101,254.00 - $131,685.00 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
General Purpose:
Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution. (Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Primarily Days) Exciting growth opportunity for a RN with proven leadership skills to manage the clinical operations and staff performance of our heart failure, VAD, transplant and structural heart teams. The applicant must be patient centered and have a proven record of working well with teams to achieve desired outcomes. This RN will work collaboratively with the Medical Directors, Lead APP, Administrators, and Assistant Director of Nursing to organize systems and structures that will facilitate positive patient experiences, increase access to care, and staff retention. Responsibilities include staffing, performance management, change champion, team building, problem solving, establishing standards of practice, assuring adherence to regulatory requirements, interpretation of policy, and modeling of customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be a role model of the IICARE values, engaged in professional growth and development, and could mentor staff and other leadership. Must have excellent communication skills. Applicants must hold an active New York State license in good standing. BSN required and MS required with 5 years of start date. Certification is preferred. Applicants will have 3-5 years of experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recent Adult Cardiovascular Care is required.
