The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, manage clinical staff, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role is essential in maintaining quality standards and fostering a supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. Responsibilities Supervise and support all clinical staff, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations. Coordinate patient care and promote continuity of care across the practice. Oversee vaccine and medication inventory, including ordering and proper storage. Collaborate with providers and administrative staff to improve patient workflow and care delivery. Monitor quality improvement initiative and support compliance with quality metrics. Respond to patient concerns or complaints related to clinical care. Maintain clinical documentation standards and ensure accurate EMR usage. Assist with onboarding and training new clinical staff. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Promote a positive, team-based culture within the practice. Requirements Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in New York State. Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a clinical or outpatient healthcare setting. 2+ years of hands-on nursing experience, preferably in family medicine or primary care. Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, quality improvement, and regulatory standards. Proficiency with EHR systems (MEDENT preferred). Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism.
