Job Description
Company Overview The Woodmere Dialysis Center provides residents with personalized care in a culturally sensitive setting. We specialize in delivering high-quality services while fostering a compassionate and professional atmosphere. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Dialysis Charge Nurse. This vital role involves overseeing dialysis patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and leading nursing staff within our specialized dialysis unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The "3-Day Advantage" Schedule We respect your time outside the clinic. While many units demand a 4- or 5-day grind, we offer a consistent 3-day work week that prioritizes your life away from the unit.
The Schedule:
Tuesday, Thursday, and alternating Saturdays.The Benefit:

Team Coordination:
Lead the floor with a focus on efficiency and collaborative "all-hands" teamwork.Clinical Excellence:
Oversee the initiation, monitoring, and termination of treatments with expert judgment.Mentorship:
Help us filter out the noise and foster a culture of accountability and professional pride.Quality Oversight:
Administer medications, laboratory collections, and maintain high-standard EMR documentation.Additional Clinical Responsibilities:
Perform and supervise comprehensive patient assessments pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis Monitor vascular access (AV fistula, grafts, catheters) and intervene appropriately for complications Respond to and manage acute dialysis-related events (e.g., hypotension, cramping, disequilibrium) Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, including CVC care and isolation procedures Verify and adjust dialysis prescriptions in collaboration with nephrologists Oversee fluid management, ultrafiltration goals, and patient tolerance throughout treatment Ensure machine setup, calibration, and safety checks meet regulatory and clinical standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to maintain high clinical outcomesWhat We're Looking For Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Dialysis RN experience (Required)Leadership Persona:
A "lead-by-example" professional with the grit to help build a high-performing teamLicense/Cert:
Valid NYS RN License (in good standing) and BLS certificationCompensation & Benefits Pay:
Starting at $54.00 per hourFull Benefits:
