This position involves overseeing the operations of the Operating Room and Ambulatory Surgical Unit in a full-time capacity. Located in Yonkers, NY, the role requires managing nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards during weekday shifts.

Requirements:

Utilize the nursing process for patient care evaluation and assessment. Demonstrate awareness of nursing skills and staff capabilities. Collaborate with health team members to enhance patient care quality. Promote customer satisfaction and act as a patient advocate. Support orientation and training of new personnel. Identify and address learning needs of nursing staff. Maintain adequate supplies and ensure equipment functionality.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in an Operating Room setting. Licensed and registered under the laws of New York. BSN degree or national professional certification preferred. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
